    Great video. Seems to me that congress is not saying dont sell them, just prove they are not contaminated with lead?? Just comply with the law by making bikes that are not contaminated and demonstrate that you have done that.

    That was my first reaction too…Until we realized that the cost of that ‘proof’ would more than double the cost of the motorcycle. Every batch of every part would need to be tested, and that amounts to thousands of tests per year (and each test costs somewhere around $500).

    Couple that with the fact that by doing all of this, that kids’ safety would not be affected one bit, and you can see why we’re fighting.
